in Review:
Reading:
This week we learned about the /au/ and /aw/ sound. We read some stories and highlighted these
features.
Math: We started a new concept this week. We learned how to add three addends. Students have been doing really well with
this!! J
Science: Our engineering unit is going well. Students are learning about the importance of
plant packaging to allow for air, water, and sun.
Notes:
-All
library books are due Monday, including Hawk books.
-The
last day I will log reading minutes will be Monday. I will hand out our last set of reading
awards next week.
-Next
Friday will be my last newsletter. The
following week I will send home a note with suggestions to work on over the summer.
-Students
will be provided a sack lunch on our field trip to the Nature Center.
